The SnakeEye III Base Kit W (wand and LED camera) is ideal for visual inspection of hard-to-reach areas with access greater than 1.1 in (27.9mm).

The SnakeEye III is a hand-held, electronic appliance that incorporates the latest in remote visual inspection technology. It will provide years of reliable service when properly operated and maintained.

The SnakeEye III records both still images as snapshots in a JPEG format (with .jpg filename extension) (Page13) and streaming video in MPEG-4 (with .avi filename extension). Both formats are stored on a removable SD (Secure Digital) card. The user can also output standard NTSC signals from the video I/O port (standard RCA type jack) on the display and output directly to an external recording device such as a DVR, Notebook Computer, etc.

The SnakeEye III also includes an audio function. With the audio function, so you can add stand-alone voice notes during live video mode. Also, you can add audio comments to individual snapshots stored on the SD card while you browse the images. When the SnakeEye III is recording Streaming Video, audio signals close to the Microphone on Display Unit will be recorded as part of the file.

SnakeEyeIII has passed the FCC, CE, CB Scheme, ETL, and IP68 tests.
