Pressure and Leak testing

Pressure tests are performed to ensure the safety, reliability, and leak tightness of pressure systems. Whatever the pressure test is required for – a new system or equipment before use or an existing one after repair or alteration, Spektr Group can provide both on-site and in-house based hydrostatic and pneumatic testing for various industries.

Spektr Group have the capability to perform hydrostatic tests up to 40,000 psi and pneumatic tests up to 15,000 psig in a safe and efficient manner. Our second-to-none test cabin is equipped with 4x high-resolution camera, so we can keep recording of tests for whatever required period. Online access to cameras can also be provided to Customer for remote witnessing of the tests. Specific design of test cabin with size of 7m x 4m x 3m with removable roof allows to test bigger equipment in a safe and reliable environment.

Leak tests are performed on systems or equipment that are used to store or move liquids or gases. Leak testing is a procedure that inspectors use to determine whether the system or equipment is functioning within a specific leak limit. Gases like nitrogen and helium with purity certification are being used for leak testing of systems or equipment. Such tests can also be performed at Customer premises as well as in-house in a specifically designated test area.

Full set of properly maintained and certified pressure and leak test equipment, like equipment itself, instruments, charts, digital recorders, etc. are available for mobilisation to Customer sites as well as to perform tests at Spektr base.

Tests are being performed in line with ASME, ASTM, ISO and client or project specific standards with provision of comprehensive records and documentation at the end of the test.
