Maintenance and Repair of Komatsu Forklift

During the comprehensive inspection of the Komatsu forklift, our team identified and resolved several issues to ensure optimal performance:

  1. Fuel System Maintenance:
    • Cleaning of the fuel tank and filter, along with replacement of a damaged fuel line.
    • Replacement of the fuel hand pump assembly filter to maintain proper pressure.
    • Inspection, cleaning, and adjustment of all injectors for smooth operation.
    • Removal of debris from one injector and installation of the high-pressure fuel pump on the engine.
  2. Engine Oil Replacement:
    • Replacement of engine oil (15W40) and oil filter to maintain engine health.
    • Total replacement of 17 liters of oil along with the filter (DS 1326) at 5625 motor hours.
  3. Front Tires and Brake System:
    • Replacement of damaged cylinders in the front tire brakes to ensure safety.
    • Inspection, greasing, and reinstallation of front wheel hub bearings.
  4. Diesel Engine Upper Cover:
    • Replacement of a damaged gasket on the diesel engine upper cover with a new one for proper sealing.
  5. Forklift Mast, Roller, and Chain:
    • Thorough inspection, cleaning, and greasing of the forklift mast, roller, and chain for smooth operation.
    • Replacement of a damaged horn to maintain functionality.

Additionally, the entire engine compartment underwent washing to uphold cleanliness standards.

This meticulous maintenance and repair process ensure the Komatsu forklift’s reliability and longevity, allowing it to operate at peak performance levels.
