We’re excited to share the successful culmination of the Flanges Tightening and Leak Testing of Flexible Monobore during its installation on a prestigious offshore project, a testament to Spektr Group’s unwavering commitment to excellence in engineering.

Project Overview:

This comprehensive offshore initiative involved the successful deployment of 3 Flexible Monobores. Each monobore consist of 2 Compact Flange Connection securely mounted on both ends, meticulously designed to ensure uncompromised structural integrity.

Comprehensive Scope of Supply:

Our dedication to providing end-to-end solutions was evident in the comprehensive scope of supply. From mobilization manpower and equipment and delivery the work , every step was thoroughly planned and executed. This holistic approach ensures the seamless integration of our solutions into the offshore environment.

Tightening Process Excellence:

The offshore tightening process, executed with state-of-the-art Hydramax HM10 equipment, involved a meticulous 3-pass sequence. This precise bolt tensioning ensured a secure connection, with special attention given to tensioning the 2”  L7 bolts in three passes. The target residual tension of 929kN for each stud was meticulously achieved, a testament to our commitment to precision engineering.

Documentation and Quality Control:

Every step of the tensioning process was documented in the Bolt Tensioning Datasheet and on completion tightening process  issue Joint Completion Certificate as quality assurance document required at each stage of the joint integrity management process.

Post-Tightening Validation:

Following the successful tightening, a back seal test (BST) was conducted. Applying 90 bar pressure for 15 minutes, this crucial step in our process ensured the leak free system achieved , reflecting our dedication to safety protocols.
