During the maintenance process for the Koomey unit, our team conducted extensive inspections, repairs, and replacements to ensure the unit operates at peak performance and safety standards. Following a series of thorough tests and calibrations, the Koomey unit was deemed fully operational without any issues.
Maintenance Activities:
Bladder and Accumulator Maintenance:
• Removed 4 x 37 LTR and 1 x 10 LTR accumulators from the Koomey unit.
• Conducted body testing on accumulators to ensure integrity and safety.
• Removed old bladders due to damage and installed new repair kits for improved performance and functionality.
• Pre-charged accumulators to 1400 psi to prepare for operation.
• Installed the accumulators back on the unit after pre-charging.
Tube Lines, Gauges, and Hydraulic Components:
• Removed and reinstalled new tube lines
• Calibrated gauges and reinstalled them on the unit for accurate readings.
• Replaced the seal kit for the air-operated HP pump, air regulator, and filter for improved functionality.
• Cleaned and flushed oil tanks for optimal performance.
Structural and Fabrication Work:
• Fabricated new forklift pockets according to standards for improved functionality and safety.
• Inspected and certified lifting and welding points for compliance and safety.
• Sandblasted the frame and accumulators for cleaning and preparation.
Control Systems and Functional Testing:
• Conducted an overhaul of the cabin control panel and replaced 220 hoses and electrical cables for improved reliability.
• Replaced all cabin cylinders to enhance functionality and safety.
• Conducted function testing on the Koomey unit with the customer representative, confirming perfect functionality without any issues.
