Air Compressor Irmair 5.5
The IRMAIR 5.5 compressor has a single-stage, screw, oil-filled compressor element manufactured by Atlas Copco Airtec (Belgium-Sweden), driven through a flexible rubber all-in-one coupling from a Deutz diesel engine (Germany). The engine-compressor bundle is mounted through rubber vibration supports on a solid base and closed with a durable weatherproof and noise-absorbing casing. The casing opens high up for easy access to serviced units and installation units. The casing is galvanized and powder-coated. Compressed air is supplied to the consumer through three standard 3/4 outlet pipes. The IRMAIR 5.5 unit is equipped with a fuel tank with a capacity of 80 liters. The IRMAIR5.5 compressor can be supplied as without chassis (for truck mounting) so it is on a single-axle chassis with a wide mounting ring or a ball car mount. The chassis can be equipped with a traffic alarm and a brake system for safe transportation in a trailer behind the car.
Description
The IRMAIR 5.5 mobile compressor is equipped with an automatic performance control system with a pneumatic control system. The compressor performance is regulated by changing the engine speed and the flow section of the intake valve of the compressor element. With an increase in compressed air consumption, an instantaneous pressure drop occurs in the oil separator receiver, to which the control system responds with a command to increase the engine speed and open the compressor inlet valve. With a decrease in air consumption, the pressure in the oil separator receiver increases instantly and the control system by means of pneumomechanical valves reduces engine speed and reduces the flow section of the intake valve until it is completely closed in the absence of consumption. This ensures a constant correspondence between the amount of air produced and consumed and the maintenance of the set operating pressure. The automatic performance control system provides fuel savings due to the absence of excess air discharge into the atmosphere and guarantees a high reaction rate to changes in air consumption and operating pressure.
The effective operating pressure of the IRMAIR 5.5 compressor is set within 4-7 bar by turning the adjustment knob.
The security system issues a warning in the event of:
- Deviations from the normal compressor oil temperature;
- Deviations from the norm of engine oil pressure and temperature;
- The lack of charging of the battery.
If the cause of the emergency warning is not eliminated, the compressor stops.
