As part of our inspection and maintenance of the Hydrophone Deployment System (HDS) on Rig Garabagh, we successfully utilized dry ice blasting to clean critical components without causing surface damage.

During the inspection, we identified significant sludge and contamination buildup on the HDS pole shaft and surface transducer. Since sandblasting, chemical cleaning, or any abrasive methods could potentially damage these sensitive components, dry ice blasting was the ideal solution.
