Spektr Group, as the trusted partner of KCI – Kinetics Control Innovations Ltd, achieved a significant milestone by successfully performing an innovative leak-sealing operation in the Caspian Sea for the first time. Using advanced sealant technology developed by KCI, we isolated a leak in a Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) Control Line under pressure, restoring well integrity without stopping production.

Building on the success of our first operation in the Caspian Sea, Spektr Group, in collaboration with KCI – Kinetics Control Innovations Ltd, has continued to deliver exceptional results. We successfully performed the isolation of seal assemblies that communicate with the hanger neck, restoring integrity and preventing potential operational risks. This achievement underscores our capability to address critical challenges in well components with precision and efficiency.

We also successfully isolated ASV control lines, a critical operation vital for ensuring the safety and reliability of key well control systems. This process safeguards the integrity of the well by preventing potential leaks or malfunctions in the control lines. Moreover, it plays a significant role in maintaining uninterrupted production, minimising downtime, and avoiding costly interventions that could impact operational efficiency.

All the tasks outlined above were effectively executed across various offshore platforms, receiving high praise and recognition from both the platform management and the Well Integrity Team at the corporate office.
